SMS supports Synhelion with the world's first industrial solar fuel plant

Synhelion inaugurated the world's first industrial-scale plant for the production of synthetic fuels from solar heat in Jülich. SMS group is a strategic investor and partner of the solar fuel pioneer. Norwegian Blastr Green Steel has selected Primetals as technological partner for DRI plant, electric steelmaking meltshop, Arvedi ESP line, and continuous pickling and galvanizing line. The Greenfield-Steelwork set to become leading producer of green steel with annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. The Project will create 1,000 direct and 4,600 indirect jobs in Finland.
